Key Responsibilities

* Assist with project management, including tender preparation, pre-start planning, programming, and organisation prior to the start of the project.
">
* Ensure compliance with contract requirements, health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
">
* Manage site set out and quality assurance processes.
">
* Understand Health & Safety requirements to assist with preparing method statements, risk assessments, site inductions, and toolbox talks etc.
">
* Work effectively with the project manager to ensure successful project delivery.
">
* Manage supply chains and subcontractors, material procurement.
">
">
Requirements
">
* Degree in Civil Engineering, or an equivalent professional qualification.
">
* Marine civil engineering experience is desirable but not essential.
">
* 2+ years of civil engineering project experience.
">
* Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
">
* Knowledge and experience of relevant industry standards, specifications, regulations, contract documents, and works methodologies.
">
* Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
">
* Irish/EU/UK driving licence.
">
* Permission to work in Ireland and the UK.

About the Role
">
This challenging and rewarding role involves working on high-profile projects throughout Ireland and the UK, including offshore renewables, cable landings, dredging, ports, and harbour construction, and commercial diving.

The team has many years of experience in marine civil engineering projects and will provide mentorship and guidance in the marine aspects of the civil engineering projects.
">
The role will be part office and part site-based with approximately a 50/50 split between the two work locations.
