This is a unique opportunity to join an established international group in a broad in-house legal role supporting both Irish operations and wider regional activity.
About Your New Job: You'll join the in-house legal function as a legal counsel, acting as a key advisor to senior management on a wide range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory issues.
This is a varied role with exposure to strategic projects, cross-border M&A, corporate governance, and high-value commercial contracting.
You'll work closely with business teams, external counsel, and international stakeholders across the group.
What You Will Do: Support senior management across legal areas including corporate, commercial, competition, construction, procurement, and complianceAdvise on corporate structuring, governance, regulatory licensing, and entity managementSupport on M&A activity, including joint ventures and partnershipsDraft and review company policies and proceduresProvide legal input on tender reviews, contract negotiation, and bespoke commercial agreementsLiaise with group legal and HQ on matters such as parent company guarantees (PCGs)Select, instruct, and manage external counsel as neededDeliver legal training and practical advice to commercial and operations teamsEnsure compliance with group-wide ethics and compliance programmesWho You Are: A qualified solicitor (or equivalent), ideally with 3+ years' PQEStrong corporate law background — experience from a top law firm highly valuedPreviousin-house experience and/or experience in the infrastructure, construction, or engineering sectors is advantageousFamiliarity with insurance or procurement frameworks a plusConfident reviewing high-value and complex commercial agreementsComfortable operating in a multi-jurisdictional, cross-functional environmentFrench language skills a bonus, though not essentialStrong commercial acumen and the ability to communicate legal advice clearly to non-legal stakeholdersWhat's On Offer: A broad, strategic in-house legal role with international reachCollaborative, team-oriented culture with access to a strong global legal networkCompetitive salary and benefitsOpportunities for career growth, progression, and innovationFlexible working arrangements and a supportive leadership teamWhat's Next: Apply now by clicking the "Apply Now" button or call me, Jack McBrinn, on +353 1 474 4645.
