We are seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Coordinator to join a data centre project team on a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating M&E services across the project lifecycle, ensuring delivery aligns with programme, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) aspects of data centre construction projects
Liaise with design teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of M&E services
Review technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation to identify potential issues or clashes
Monitor installation works to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and health & safety requirements
Track project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and senior stakeholders
Attend and contribute to project meetings, including coordination and progress meetings
Ensure quality control throughout installation and commissioning phases
Support commissioning activities and handover documentation processes
Assist in resolving technical issues on site in a timely manner
Key Requirements
Proven experience as an M&E Coordinator
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in large-scale construction or manufacturing environments
Experience working on complex MEP installations and coordinating multiple subcontractors
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with project management tools and reporting processes
