Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef located in Dublin. The Sous Chef will support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. The role involves assisting with menu planning, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring high-quality food production. The Sous Chef will also help in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff and contribute to creating a positive and productive kitchen environment.
Qualifications
* Experience in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
* Skills in menu planning and recipe development
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
* Experience in managing and training kitchen staff
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Strong communication and leadership abilities
* Culinary Arts degree or relevant professional certification
* Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen or fine dining environment is a plus
