As a key player in our operations, you will oversee all molding operations, driving performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
What You'll Do: Oversee molding operations, ensuring all standards of performance are met and exceeded.
Analyze workflow, troubleshoot issues, and identify solutions to optimize production.
Lead, mentor, and manage a dedicated team, ensuring high levels of performance, safety, and morale.
Set clear goals and KPIs, monitoring and reporting on plant performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and quality compliance.
Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including ISO 13485 and ISO 14001.
Manage inventories and ensure the accurate tracking of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
What You'll Need: Experience: At least 5 years of experience in an Injection Moulding or Medical Device manufacturing facility or similar high-volume production environment.
Have worked as a production manager for a minimum of 5 years Skills: Strong leadership, organisational, and communication abilities.
Analytical skills to review performance data and implement actionable insights.
Mindset: Results-driven with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Education: BSc in Engineering or related technical field.
Experience and passion are just as important as formal qualifications.
Knowledge of IQMS is a plus.
Technical Proficiency: Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and general manufacturing operations.
Ability to drive operational improvements and optimize performance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure all safety procedures and policies are adhered to, maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Manage and review labor, inventory, and performance metrics to reduce scrap and improve efficiency.
Oversee compliance with quality and regulatory standards, driving a culture of innovation and safety.
Liaise with teams across departments to maintain and improve production and customer satisfaction.
