Our client, a leading global (re)insurance provider, is seeking a Senior Actuary – Process and System Development to join their expanding Dublin-based team.
This is an exciting permanent opportunity to play a key role within a firm recognised for delivering innovative risk and capital management solutions across global markets.
As part of the Actuarial Function, you’ll help shape and deliver a major transformation initiative aimed at designing, developing, and implementing an integrated suite of actuarial processes and systems. This programme will enhance efficiency, scalability, and governance, enabling the actuarial team to meet its responsibilities with greater precision and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of efficient, scalable actuarial processes and systems to support reporting, reserving, and analysis
Collaborate with data and model development leads to deliver an integrated actuarial reporting suite
Manage project plans, timelines, and benefits realisation across multiple stakeholders
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards
Drive innovation and continuous improvement through emerging technologies and smarter ways of working
About You
Qualified actuary with significant experience in an insurance or reinsurance actuarial environment
Strong background in modelling, data management, or process improvement initiatives
Proven ability to lead change and deliver complex actuarial or finance system developments
Skilled in Excel and analytical tools such as VBA, SQL, R, Prophet, or Power BI
Excellent communicator with strong problem-solving, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
