Speech Therapist Senior Grade Job Description
We are seeking a highly-motivated Senior Speech Therapist to join our team in CHO1 Cavan. This role is responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to children and families within the region.
Job Overview:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work as a senior member of an interdisciplinary team, providing services to children with a range of disabilities. The role will involve assessing, diagnosing, and intervening in speech and language difficulties, as well as supervising clinical staff and delivering ongoing service delivery.
The post holder will be responsible for working with children aged 0-18 years with physical, sensory, learning disabilities, developmental delay, and autism. The role will include providing services to children in special schools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Registration as a Speech Therapist by the Speech Therapists Registration Board at CORU
* 3 years full-time (or aggregate of 3 years full-time) post-qualification clinical experience
* Candidates must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
* Annual registration on the Speech Therapists Register maintained by the Speech Therapists Registration Board at CORU
