Mechanical QA/QC Inspector
6-Month Contract | Athlone, Ireland | Full-Time On Site (5 days/week)
We have a fantastic opportunity to join a long-established, highly respected contracting company that delivers major projects across the pharmaceutical sector.
We require an experienced Mechanical QA/QC Inspector for an ongoing pharmaceutical facility
project in Athlone. This role is Monday to Friday so ideal for someone who lives locally.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform daily site walkdowns and mechanical inspections (piping, supports, vessels, skids, HVAC ducting, etc.)
* Verify installation complies with approved drawings, specifications, and pharma standards
* Review and sign-off on weld logs, material certificates, pressure test packs, and mechanical completion documentation
* Identify and report non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions
* Support turnover package compilation and handover to the client
Requirements
* QA/QC experience on pharmaceutical or other highly regulated projects in Ireland
* Strong mechanical background (piping and equipment installation essential)
* Previous experience on projects in Ireland with Irish/EU pharma clients is a distinct advantage
* Excellent working knowledge of mechanical completion systems and documentation
* Immediately available or on short notice preferred
* EU Passport, British Passport or Stamp 4 VISA
This role would suit a QaQc Engineer, Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer, Piping QaQc Engineer, Piping Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer.
