Offer description

Purpose of the Role

To ensure the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and practices on the solar construction site. The QHSE Supervisor plays a critical role in promoting a culture of safety, ensuring legal compliance, and supporting the delivery of a high-quality project within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities :

Health & Safety

* Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with HSE standards and regulations.
* Conduct regular safety inspections, audits and risk assessments
* Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
* Promote and enforce safe systems of work (SSOW), including Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
* Organize toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness campaigns.

Quality Assurance

* Track work progress and record completed work onto database

Reporting & Documentation

* Prepare risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
* Prepare and maintain daily/weekly HSE and QA reports.
* Ensure all QHSE documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
* Maintain records of incidents, audits, training, and inspections.

Qualifications

* Education:

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field or

* NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent

Experience

* Minimum 3 years of QHSE experience in construction, experience on renewable energy or solar projects would be helpful but not essential.
* Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and standards.
* Demonstrated ability to manage HSE compliance on a live construction site.
* Experience working with EPC contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 4 months
