As a leader in our Health & Social Care practice, you will play a pivotal role in developing strategies for, and leading large-scale, system-wide transformation programmes that improve population health outcomes and operational efficiency.
This senior leadership position offers the chance to influence policy, drive digital innovation, and lead multidisciplinary teams, making a tangible impact on society while advancing your career at the forefront of health sector consulting.
Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position: Extensive healthcare experience in consulting services, with a proven track record of delivering sustainable, high-quality care improvements within health and social care environments.
Demonstrated success in leading health and/or social care transformation initiatives at a senior management or director level, preferably within the Irish public sector or similar complex settings.
A background in workforce planning, specifically medical manpower strategy would be particularly beneficial.
Strong strategic advisory and client-facing skills, adept at analysing complex challenges and delivering data-driven, practical solutions.
Expertise in managing complex, multi-stakeholder programmes, including governance, risk management, and resource allocation.
Experience in digital health implementation and change management, supported by relevant professional qualifications such as Prince2, PMP, or Prosci and/or certification in relevant digital health technologies.
What type of work will I be doing? Lead the development and delivery of integrated health and social care strategies and policies in collaboration with clients.
Design and implement innovative operating models to enhance care quality and operational efficiency.
Oversee the deployment of new digital technologies and support change management efforts.
Prepare and present robust business cases and feasibility studies to secure investment and stakeholder support for substantial investment programmes in the sector.
Develop workforce planning models to support significant change programmes.
Drive complex projects and programmes with strong governance frameworks and risk controls.
Engage with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders to ensure alignment and drive progress.
Lead, mentor, and inspire multidisciplinary teams to foster collaboration and innovation.
Monitor programme delivery against outcomes and adapt strategies to ensure success.

Where is this role based? This Director role is based in Dublin, offering a flexible hybrid working model that blends office presence with remote working.
There will also be opportunities to work on client sites as required.
