Clarity are currently recruiting for a Paediatric Community Nurse based in West DublinResponsibilities includeProvide nursing care to a childGastrostomy tube feeds via feeding pumpCompetent in all tracheostomy care, changing of ties, suctioning and changing tube in an emergency situationManagement and administration of nebs and suctioningMonitoring for signs and symptoms of respiratory distressPressure area careMedication ManagementSeizure managementCare of a child with a disabilityManage enteral feeding and medicationAssist with activities of daily living (ADLs)Manage seizuresProvide play and family supportProvide excellent evidence-based nursing care, implementing all aspects of care plans based on the needs identified.Prioritise the needs and comfort of the client.Promote abilities, independence, and safeguard the client's interests at all times
The ideal candidate will have:RGN/RCN qualifiedNMBI registeredMust have a full driver's license and carPrevious experience in home care is an advantage
