Service Technician Role
We are currently recruiting for a Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of the manufacturing department, you will be responsible for assembling machinery, managing parts inventory, and carrying out service and maintenance on machines both in-house and occasionally on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mechanical Assembly: Assemble mechanical and electrical components to build custom machinery.
* Machine Servicing: Service and maintain machines in line with company standards and customer requirements.
* Inventory Management: Manage stock levels of parts and tools, ensuring inventory is tracked and replenished as needed.
* Quality Control: Perform routine quality checks to ensure machines are built and functioning to spec.
* Collaboration: Liaise with clients and team members to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or mechanical assembly role.
* A mechanical or electrical qualification is an advantage but not essential – relevant hands-on experience will be considered.
* Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
* Full, clean driving license may be required for servicing work.
