Heat Pump System Specialist Role
We are seeking a skilled Heat Pump System Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commissioning commercial and residential heat pump systems, performing diagnostics and repairs, carrying out scheduled maintenance work, supervising junior technicians, liaising with project engineers and customers, and ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with F-Gas regulations and health and safety standards.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Commissioning commercial and residential heat pump systems
* Performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on heat pump equipment
* Carrying out scheduled and reactive maintenance work to ensure optimal system performance
* Supervising junior technicians and providing technical guidance and training when required
* Liaising with project engineers and customers to ensure high-quality service delivery
The successful candidate will be a qualified Refrigeration Technician (Level 6 or equivalent) with full, valid F-Gas certification. A minimum of 5 years' experience in refrigeration and/or heat pump systems (commercial and domestic) is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, a full clean driving license, and the ability to read wiring diagrams, commissioning reports, and technical manuals comfortably.
Additionally, good communication and customer service skills are crucial for success in this role.
