Are you a commercially minded HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships across a business?Our client, a leading and growing retail organisation, is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join their people team. This is an exciting opportunity to partner directly with operational leaders across a large retail network, influencing people strategy while remaining hands‑on in the day-to-day realities of the business.Reporting to the Head of HR, you will support a workforce of approximately 750 employees across multiple locations and play a key role in driving employee engagement, leadership capability, organisational effectiveness and operational performance.The OpportunityThis is a true HR Business Partner role offering exposure across employee relations, leadership coaching, organisational design, talent development, engagement initiatives and strategic HR projects.You will work closely with Retail Directors, Area Managers and Store Managers, providing practical HR support while helping leaders develop the skills and confidence to manage their teams effectively.This is a high-volume, dynamic environment that requires someone who can quickly build credibility, influence stakeholders and confidently navigate competing priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with business leaders to provide commercially focused HR support and guidanceManage complex employee relations matters from initial consultation through to resolutionCoach and develop managers on performance management, employee engagement and people leadershipSupport organisational design, workforce planning and change initiativesDrive employee engagement and culture initiatives across the businessPartner with Learning & Development teams to identify capability gaps and support training programmesSupport recruitment and talent initiatives alongside the Talent Acquisition teamAnalyse people data and trends to support decision-making and business performanceBuild strong relationships across multiple stakeholder groups and locationsIdentify opportunities to improve processes, enhance manager capability and drive operational efficiencyAbout YouYou are an experienced HR professional who enjoys being close to the business and partnering with leaders to solve problems.You will ideally bring:5+ years' HR experience, including experience in a HR Business Partner, Senior HR Generalist or similar roleStrong employee relations experience and confidence managing complex people mattersExperience supporting operational, retail, logistics, hospitality, healthcare or similarly fast‑paced environmentsExcellent stakeholder management and influencing skillsStrong commercial awareness and an interest in how people initiatives impact business performanceThe confidence to challenge, coach and support managers at all levelsA proactive, self‑directed approach with the ability to work independentlyExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailA willingness to travel occasionally to business locationsWhy Apply?Salary up to €75,000 plus benefitsOpportunity to partner directly with senior leadersExposure to strategic HR projects and business transformation initiativesHigh-growth organisation with significant career progression opportunitiesCollaborative and supportive HR leadership teamBroad, varied role with genuine business impactOpportunity to shape and influence the people agenda within a growing organisationIf you are looking for a role where you can combine commercial thinking, relationship building and hands‑on HR expertise, we'd love to hear from you.
