The Chef de Partie at Ballynahinch Castle is responsible for ensuring guests have a wonderful dining experience. We seek a driven candidate who will develop their skills while working closely with our talented kitchen team, maintaining 5-star standards and delivering excellence at all times.
The Role
1. Prepare dishes or ingredients as directed by the Executive Head Chef or Sous Chef.
2. Assist in various kitchen sections at the discretion of the Executive Head Chef.
3. Prepare dishes for service from start to finish as requested.
4. Ensure mise en place is ready for service and appropriate for business levels.
5. Maintain clean and organized work areas at all times.
6. Assist with food deliveries, ensuring hygiene and safety measures are followed.
7. Minimize food waste through proper practices.
8. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to complete tasks.
9. Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment following HACCP standards.
10. Ensure food presentation meets the standards set by the Executive Head Chef.
11. Work with the team to meet guest requests promptly and efficiently.
12. Support the team in meeting targets related to labor and food costs.
13. Adhere to grooming standards as per hotel policy.
