Quantity Surveyor

A well‑established and highly respected Irish head contractor is seeking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team, based from the Dublin office. The business delivers a strong portfolio of commercial, hotel, and public & private sector projects across Ireland and continues to grow its presence in the Dublin market.
This opportunity will suit a Quantity Surveyor with a proven background in delivering construction projects in Ireland, operating within a main/head contractor environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial management of projects from pre‑construction through to final account, working closely with site teams and senior management to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial management of live construction projects
Cost control,виг forecasting, and financial reporting
Preparation, submission, and agreement of valuations and variations
Procurement and commercial management of subcontractor packages
Risk and value management throughout the project lifecycle
Liaison with clients, consultants, and internal delivery teams
Candidate Profile
Degree‑qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Proven experience delivering construction projects in Ireland
Background with a main/head contractor
Experience across commercial, hotel, and/or public sector projects
Strong understanding of Irish construction contracts and procurement routes
Commercially astute with strong communication and negotiation skills
Must have full working rights to work in Ireland
