An established and rapidly expanding provider of home energy solutions is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead its national sales team. This is a senior-level appointment for an experienced professional who can drive performance, optimize sales processes, and deliver detailed reporting to executive leadership.
The Role:
The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for leading an office-based sales team across Ireland. The successful candidate will oversee pipeline performance, lead generation strategy, and sales reporting while fostering a high-performing and motivated team culture. A strong emphasis is placed on structured reporting, process management, and alignment with business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and support a national sales team to deliver against ambitious revenue targets.
* Develop and maintain detailed sales reports and pipeline updates for the General Manager.
* Identify and implement improvements in the sales process to drive efficiency and conversion.
* Coordinate closely with marketing on lead generation activities and campaign outcomes.
* Set and monitor KPIs for individual team members; provide coaching and performance feedback.
* Ensure full and effective use of the CRM system for pipeline visibility and performance tracking.
* Instil a customer-first mindset across the team, ensuring a consistently high-quality experience.
* Contribute to the commercial strategy and assist with budgeting and planning cycles.
* Conduct regular training, team meetings, and field visits to support performance and engagement.
Candidate Profile:
A relevant degree in Business, Sales, or a related discipline is required. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in a B2C setting, is expected. Demonstrated success in managing and developing a geographically dispersed sales team is essential.
