Corporate Lawyer
We are seeking an experienced corporate lawyer to join our team in a key role that involves working closely with other lawyers and reporting to the Head of Knowledge.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years post-qualification experience with a focus on corporate law, ideally within a leading law firm. They will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating template corporate documents and precedents. Additionally, they will monitor legal, regulatory, and practice developments relevant to corporate law, deliver updates, briefings, and facilitate training for practitioners and clients on corporate law and related developments.
Main Responsibilities:
* Developing, maintaining, and updating template corporate documents and precedents.
* Monitoring legal, regulatory, and practice developments relevant to corporate law.
* Distributing updates, briefings, and facilitating training for practitioners and clients on corporate law and related developments.
* Contributing to the management and development of overall knowledge resources.
* Assisting practitioners with complex corporate legal and regulatory queries.
* Drafting materials for an online legal current awareness service.
* Preparing client briefings and public publications to maintain market profile.
* Leading and contributing to client presentations.
* Working on specific knowledge projects related to legal resources, research, know-how, and education.
You will need:
A strong proficiency in drafting legal materials, with a keen technical and academic interest in corporate law. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on developing knowledge services. Sound judgment, decision-making abilities, and proven project management skills. Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, with high attention to detail. A strong interest in developing, maintaining, and sharing legal knowledge through training. A positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude, with excellent problem-solving abilities. A high degree of discretion and the ability to work with confidential information.
Requirements:
An excellent academic background, holding at least a 2.1 honours degree. Be qualified as a solicitor or barrister in Ireland, Northern Ireland or England and Wales.
