Declan Garage Ltd is an independent garage located in Wicklow town that specializes in full car service, new tyres, new brakes, exhaust repairs, new batteries, NCT checks, and secondhand tyres. We are looking for a qualified mechanic/qualified motor vehicle technician to work in a busy environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform timing belt, gearbox and clutch replacement, engine work and other mechanical duties.Carry out vehicle diagnostic systems and carry out repairs as needed.Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring readiness for all mechanical work.Run the garage operations when the owner is off.Qualifications / RequirementsA responsible and diligent approach with the ability to work independently.Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.Experience in vehicle diagnostic systems and mechanical work including timing belt replacement, clutch changes, gearbox and engine work.Own tools and capability to perform all mechanical duties.Currently in Ireland with full working status.Full valid and current driver’s licence.TermsFull‑time and part‑time roles available.Immediate start.Ability to start at 7:50am, work until 4:30pm Mon–Fri, with occasional Saturday work in lieu of a weekday.Package is €K with terms flexible and negotiable.SkillsMOTORSMechanicCommunicator
