Duty Manager required to lead a shift of 10 staff on a afternoon / evening shift Managing the delivery of the targets set out and proactively assisting with the development and implementation of programs, which will see ongoing improvement throughout the site.
Management of KPIs and where appropriate implement timely corrective and improvement actions to achieve targets.
Developing a good working relationship with Senior Management and the other Duty Managers on site.
Support all parts of the business.
Maintaining a safe working environment in line with Health & Safety as well as all other relevant legislative requirements.
Playing a leadership role in maintaining current procedures, improving employee engagement and participation, drive continuous improvement and a high performing culture.
Maintain continuous focus on Employee Welfare with specific emphasis on Health & Safety, Hygiene, ISO Procedures, housekeeping, and absenteeism.
Ensuring that our Continuous Improvement approach embraces employee involvement and participation is actively encouraged and recognized.
Effective resource projection planning and management throughout the warehouse.
Completion of Annual / Quarterly / Weekly inventory counts.
Ensure customers products are stored securely, picked correctly and minimum breakages incurred.
Management of waste product for Decant, Mixed Wines, Destruction.
