Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Manager, you will play a key role in driving site safety culture, implementing the company's Safety Management System, and supporting the successful delivery of a high-profile residential development.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the safety culture on site, including:
* Working as part of the construction management team to ensure a safe, compliant and productive work environment.
* Monitoring and enforcing the company's Health & Safety Management System.
* Identifying site-specific hazards and ensuring appropriate controls are implemented in documentation and on the ground.
* Maintaining statutory safety records and site safety folders.
* Ensuring all contractors strictly adhere to site rules and safety procedures.
* Supporting site management in meeting all statutory H&S requirements.
* Assisting the H&S Manager in developing risk assessments and improving safe systems of work.
* Coordinating safe systems of work for subcontractors.
* Carrying out site H&S audits and closing out any non-conformances with site management and contractors.
* Supporting accident and incident investigations.
* Preparing and delivering toolbox talks.
* Identifying training needs for both company personnel and subcontractors.
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum 4 years' experience managing safety systems within the construction sector.
* Qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
* IOSH membership (preferred).
* Strong ability to manage site safety independently within the company management system.
* Excellent relationship-building skills with site teams, subcontractors and external stakeholders.
* Strong knowledge of risk management and practical implementation of control
