About Your New Job
Debug and Repair
: As an Electronics Technician, you will be responsible for the debug and repair of electronics modules and assemblies, ensuring they meet functional and in-circuit test standards.
Production Support
: Setup and provide day-to-day support for in-circuit and custom functional test stations, power supplies, and measuring instruments.
Customer Interaction
: Analyze non-conforming products returned by customers, complete detailed reports, and interface with customers for ideal test equipment/program setup.
Documentation and Compliance
: Complete all required documentation accurately and in line with specific procedures, GMP & GDP standards.
Quality and Safety
: Demonstrate a quality culture within a team environment, adhere to all health and safety policies, and maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
Continuous Improvement
: Participate in improvement projects, introduce and maintain troubleshooting guides, and support the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) function within the business.
What Skills You Need
Board Repair Experience
: Minimum three years relevant demonstrable experience using test and diagnostics equipment for both analog and digital circuits, including logic and processor systems.
Electronics Knowledge
: A good understanding of electronics principles and experience interpreting circuit diagrams.
Qualifications
: NFQ Level 6 or higher qualification in Electronics or equivalent.
Problem-Solving Skills
: Demonstrable debug and problem-solving skills.
Self-Motivation
: Ability to work on own initiative and be self-motivated.
Desirable Skills
Experience working on SMT circuit board technology.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience working in a medical manufacturing environment.
Previous experience in a target-driven environment.
Computer literacy using Word, Excel, Access.
Excellent time and attendance record.
