About the Role:
Our client
is seeking a motivated
Junior Site Manager
to join their team on a residential project in Bandon, Co. Cork. The successful candidate will work directly under a Project Manager and alongside a Site Engineer. This is a permanent, full-time role with opportunities to move onto different projects afterwards.
Responsibilities
* Conduct site inspections and maintain attendance records
* Update site safety records and register audit sign-offs
* Carry out site quality inspections and record findings (particularly for Irish Water projects)
* Order and record deliveries of concrete, stone, aggregates, and other materials
* Attend site meetings, take minutes, and update work programmes
* Update BCaR records
* Manage subcontractors on a day-to-day basis
* Prepare snagging sheets and sign off when works are complete
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Graduate in Civil Engineering (1–2 years out of college) in Ireland.
* Some site-based experience in Ireland (a few months minimum)
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and learn quickly
* Enthusiasm to build a career in site management
