The role has responsibility for the maintenance and engineering management of the site, ensuring equipment, plant, and property are efficiently operating to maximize production output. The manager will participate in daily operational activities, manage projects, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.Responsibilities:Ensure manufacturing equipment performance meets or exceeds KPI targets.Develop and support technician training and skills enhancement.Execute planned preventative maintenance and ensure regulatory compliance.Review maintenance systems and implement continuous improvement projects.Ensure all maintenance complies with health & safety and quality standards.Drive preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives.Manage maintenance budget and planning systems.Lead maintenance technicians and establish procedures for GMP manufacturing environments.Support plant optimization across production, utilities, and other departments.Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and test new processes.Utilize data insights to improve plant performance and KPI metrics.Troubleshoot issues and identify performance improvement opportunities.Manage utilities and other site infrastructure.Requirements:Hands-on mechanical and electrical knowledge, including refrigeration, conveyers, and packaging equipment.Experience managing maintenance teams in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments.Experience with preventive maintenance systems.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Flexible, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.Proven experience in maintenance and project management.Leadership and team development skills.Note: Non-passport holders may need a work permit for this position.
