This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Dispatch Team Lead. As a key member of the operations department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily despatch process, ensuring timely and efficient order fulfilment.
Main Tasks:
* Oversee the daily despatch operation, allocating orders for picking and planning loads.
* Coordinate with suppliers and clients to guarantee timely and accurate shipments.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the despatch operation.
* Foster a positive team culture, motivating and developing colleagues to achieve their full potential.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* Relevant experience in a similar role.
* A strong educational background, ideally Leaving Certificate standard or higher.
* Proficiency in using SAP and other logistics management systems.
* Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
