THE OPPORTUNITY As breakfast Supervisor you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests' day starts on the right note with a delightful breakfast experience. You will oversee the breakfast service operation, ensuring impeccable food quality, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Your leadership and attention to detail will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards and creating memorable guest experiences. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Team Leadership Supervise and train breakfast service staff. Set daily work schedules and assign tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient breakfast service. Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service and professionalism. Service Excellence Monitor breakfast service to ensure all guests are served promptly, courteously, and in line with company standards. Address guest feedback and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally. Ensure tables are properly set, and the dining area is clean and always organised. Food Quality and Excellence. Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain high-quality food preparation, presentation, and timely delivery to guests. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that food items meet the company's standards and adhere to food safety regulations. Inventory Management Assist in inventory control by monitoring breakfast supplies, placing orders, and ensuring proper stock levels are maintained. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions promptly. Guest Relations Build strong rapport with guests, providing a personalised service and addressing individual needs. Solicit feedback from guests and use it to improve service and offerings. Compliance and Training Ensure all staff adhere to food safety and hygiene procedures. Provide ongoing training and coaching to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a breakfast or food service environment. Experience of working in a luxury hotel environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer centred. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations. Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
