The Role
We are seeking reliable and motivated General Operatives to join our production team in Longford. In this hands-on role, you will support the manufacturing and assembly process, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate machinery and tools to manufacture light gauge steel housing units.
* Assemble structures accurately using technical drawings and instructions.
* Carry out visual inspections and quality checks before and after assembly.
* Follow all site safety procedures and use PPE at all times.
* Report hazards, near misses, or equipment issues promptly.
* Work as part of a team to achieve production targets.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
* Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
What We're Looking For
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
* Good teamwork and communication skills.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Physically fit for manual handling and production tasks.
* Basic computer skills (an advantage).
Working Hours
* Monday to Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
* Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
* 15-minute morning break and 30-minute lunch break (lunch unpaid).
