Role
We are recruiting a Senior Consultant in the Private Equity Transfer Agency department. The role involves reviewing the work of a team, monitoring workloads, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements, providing leadership, and maintaining an excellent working environment.
Principal Responsibilities
Assist in managing an ever‑expanding Private Equity Transfer Agency team within the Limerick operation.
Deliver high quality service to clients—both internal and external—by accurate, timely completion of all assigned tasks and requests for information.
Organise workload and team members efficiently.
Ensure Calls / Distributions and Investor Reporting are completed accurately and on time.
Improve the preparation of client reporting.
Learn quickly and continually improve service offered.
Create and maintain a respectful and productive work environment.
Deliver training/coaching effectively.
Understand risk within own team, help others recognize risk is everyone’s responsibility.
Actively liaise with clients and external auditors, dealing with audit queries.
Ensure agreed client service levels and regulatory filing deadlines are met.
Address partner issues and develop indirect reports, providing objective and regular feedback to staff.
Assist the department in annual targets, including development of the offshore team and automation of the Private Equity’s platform Investran.
Assist with development and execution of the department’s strategic plans, goals and priorities.
Deliver high quality service to each client assigned to the team.
Communicate effectively with clients, investors and associated parties on fund activities.
Keep abreast of current activities in the Private Equity market and industry and regulatory developments.
Skills / Experience
Operational experience in a similar role within Private Equity.
Working knowledge of Sungard Investran is an advantage.
Client service orientation.
Ability to develop a team.
Excellent attention to detail and numerically competent.
Willingness to support with daily BAU duties where necessary to support the team and others outside the team.
Strong prioritisation and multi‑tasking skills.
Strong problem solving skills.
Organises own workload and establishes priorities.
Good knowledge of standards and procedures required for own tasks.
Excellent PC skills, especially MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Ability to participate in systems development projects.
Track record of optimising system use and automating processes where possible.
Demonstrates leadership and team‑building qualities and ability to motivate others.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
