Role Overview
As a hybrid technical-business specialist, you will manage the lifecycle of clinical development data systems. You will focus on system testing, release coordination, and production troubleshooting, ensuring data integrity and user access meet strict regulatory standards.
Core Responsibilities
Testing & Releases: Design and execute technical test cases; provide expertise for the installation of new releases, patches, and associated user training.
System Maintenance: Resolve incidents within SLAs; perform root cause analysis and identify system risks to prevent recurrence.
Data & Access: Manage user access requirements; execute data movement activities and perform quality checks to ensure data accuracy.
Business Alignment: Partner across functions to translate customer feedback into system improvements; maintain job aids, FAQs, and performance metrics.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s in BIS, Computer Science, or IT (Advanced degree preferred).
Technical Skills: 2–3 years in system support, testing, and release management.
Clinical Knowledge: Experience with clinical development data systems and regulatory/quality requirements.
Soft Skills: High learning agility, logical problem-solving, and the ability to build consensus across global teams.
Duration: 12-Month
Work Pattern: 2–3 days per week onsite in Cork.
