Business Analyst - Life & Pensions
Location: Cork (Hybrid)
Type: Permanent
Salary: €65,000 - €75,000 base + benefits
Opportunity
Join a global technology leader's Life & Pensions practice as a Business Analyst. You'll work with product owners, developers, testers, and domain leaders to design, deliver, and support digital solutions that align with strategic business goals.
Responsibilities
1. Gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
2. Lead workshops, process mapping, and requirements playback.
3. Create BRDs, functional specs, and user stories; refine backlog.
4. Translate technical requirements into business-focused solutions.
5. Support UAT and ensure business readiness for go-live.
6. Contribute to change management activities (training, comms, migration).
Requirements
7. Proven BA experience within financial services, ideally Life & Pensions.
8. Strong knowledge of SDLC and project delivery (Agile/Hybrid/Waterfall).
9. Expertise in process mapping and documenting as-is/to-be scenarios.
10. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
11. Degree in Business, Finance, Data, or IT.
12. Desirable: BA certifications, IT qualifications, or Life & Pensions domain knowledge.
