Over the years this company has established a strong reputation in the industry as a proven quality supplier with a workforce in the hundreds and turnover in the tens of millions. Our client is now taking on a Maintenance Manager to come on board and to join their team to grow and develop with the business. ROLE: The successful Maintenance Manager will be site-based in Offaly and will be predominately tasked with the following: Leading and developing the maintenance team to deliver high equipment performance as well as meet all safety and quality standards. Having 12 direct reports and up to 25-30 indirect reports at any time on site. Ensuring robust preventive and predictive maintenance systems are in place, minimising reactive work and downtime. Overseeing maintenance planning execution and continuous improvement to optimise plant efficiency. Overseeing maintenance budgets, planning systems, improving processes and collaborating with the Site Manager on all day-to-day production operations. PERSON: For this Maintenance Manager role, we are looking to speak to candidates from the following background: Fully Electrically or Mechanically trade qualified (Electrician, Fitter, etc) is essential. People management (20+ workers) or supervisory experience in a Food manufacturing environment is essential. Experience in a high activity and output production environment is essential, preferably food production but may also consider outside of food. Experience running maintenance schedules, budgets, planning systems and process improvements is a requirement. Good opportunity for an Assistant manager or a Supervisor looking to take that next step.
