You will join a specialist tax advisory firm as a
Tax Trainee
within a structured four‑year training programme. From the outset, you will focus primarily on tax compliance while gradually gaining practical experience across a wide range of tax areas. As your technical expertise develops, you will have opportunities to work on consultancy assignments and engage directly with clients, professional services firms, and government agencies.As part of your training contract,
you will complete the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification through the Irish Tax Institute
.
Your new role
* Prepare tax compliance work across multiple tax heads.
* Support senior team members on advisory and consultancy projects as your knowledge grows.
* Liaise with clients, government bodies, and other professional advisers.
* Progress through a structured, tiered training programme that increases your responsibility over time.
* Contribute to the delivery of practical, tailored tax solutions to a wide variety of clients.
What you'll need to succeed
* Hold a 2.1 honours degree, preferably in business or law (tax modules are an advantage).
* Demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Possess excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
* Have strong numeracy skills and an aptitude for working with financial information.
