This is a full-time hybrid role for a Bid Manager/Senior Estimator at Eirefacade Systems UK Limited. Based in Mallow, but with opportunities for flexible remote work. The Bid Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and securing high-quality, profitable bids from opportunity stage through to formal tender submission and internal handover.This role is central to the initial customer experience. Leading external client communications, overseeing the tender process, allocating work packages to the estimating team, coordinating input from the Technical, Operations, Commercial and Finance teams, and managing vendor and subcontractor quotations.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure every bid is technically compliant to meet client’s requirements.Ensure every bid is commercially robust and accurate.Ensure every bid is aligned with the company’s risk appetite and strategic goals.The Bid Manager is a key contributor to building a sustainable order book, supporting both the current business and the next generation development of people, systems, and processes across the group.ExperienceDemonstrable track record of coordinating multi-discipline tender submissions to fixed deadlines.Independent estimating of large and/or complex projects.Technical SkillsStrong understanding of façade / glazing systems, construction methods, and project sequencing (desirable).Competent user of estimating and tendering tools (e.g., LogiKal) and planning tools.Ability to understand and take quantities off architect’s drawings.Comfortable working within integrated digital environments such as Business Central, CoreLink, and SharePoint.Strong numeracy and analytical skills, including advanced use of spreadsheets for pricing and comparisons.Highly organised, structured, and disciplined in managing multiple concurrent bids.Calm under pressure, with the ability to work to multiple deadlines without loss of quality.Clear and concise communicator, both in writing and verbally, with clients, internal stakeholders, vendors and subcontractors.Commercially aware, with sound judgement regarding risk, margin, and the suitability of projects for the business.Collaborative, approachable, and professional, with a focus on developing people and processes for the next generation of the business.Positive influence on team/office morale.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionSales and Business DevelopmentIndustryConstructionReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Eirefacade Systems UK Limited by 2x.Carrigaline, County Cork, Ireland
