Aurora has a highly trained and dedicated staff of more than 300 health-care professionals catering to the needs of over 75 adults with Intellectual Disabilities.We are currently recruiting Health Care Assistants (HCA), Permanent Day Contracts to work as part of a community team. This is a rewarding and interesting role supporting people with complex needs to live full and valued lives in their own community, including opportunities to explore with people what they would like their life to look like.This will be a varied role and you will be lead in the support you offer by the person you are supporting; this might find you at matches, joining choirs or cycling the greenwayIf you are an energetic HCA who likes a varied work day, we want to hear from you.The HCA will assist the people we support in all aspects of daily living in line with the needs, will and preference of the individual and as outlined in an agreed care plan. He/she will ensure that the needs of the people we support are being met through professional work practices.
