Summary
A leading Irish main contractor is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join the team on a large education project in the North Dublin area.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of public and private sector work across education, residential, healthcare and commercial sectors.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Manage daily site operations and coordinate subcontractors onsite
Ensure works are delivered in line with programme targets and project deadlines
Maintain high standards of health & safety and site compliance
Coordinate with the Project Manager, design team and client representatives
Monitor quality control and ensure works are completed to specification
Manage site logistics, sequencing and material coordination
Chair toolbox talks and assist with site meetings
Maintain accurate site records and reporting
Drive productivity and ensure smooth day-to-day site operations
Requirements
Previous experience working as a Site Manager with a main contractor
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and site coordination
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Good understanding of Irish building regulations and BCAR
Strong health & safety awareness
Trade or construction-related qualification preferred
