**Structural Engineer Opportunity**
We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. With an expanding workload across various sectors, this role offers the opportunity to gain broad experience in designing structures, working on structural analysis and design calculations, and assisting with drawing preparation.
The successful candidate will become a member of an experienced team, supporting the growth and development of talented engineers. Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing structural analysis and design calculations, assisting with drawing preparation, and conducting site visits to ensure construction compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* A strong analytical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles.
* Demonstrable buildings-focused structural engineering design skills.
* A desire to work constructively in a team, finding holistic building design solutions in a multidiscipline environment.
* Performing site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, quality, and adherence to specifications.
* Ability to understand commercial implications of design decisions and desire to strive for efficient structural solutions.
* Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills, with the ability to balance tasks and prioritise to meet strict deadlines.
Desired Qualifications and Requirements:
* At least 3 to 6 years structural engineering experience.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Minimum Level 8 Civil / Structural Engineering Degree (Hons) and working towards Chartered status with Engineers Ireland.
* Customer-focused with growing client relationship management skills.
* Ability to mentor junior staff in developing their own technical expertise.
* Display leadership qualities and a desire to develop client relationships.
