Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Infrastructure Strategist to lead the planning and execution of integrated technology and infrastructure initiatives for a leading Renewable Energy company.
The successful candidate will drive the development of a comprehensive grid and infrastructure plan, aligning with national energy policies and industry standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge of electricity transmission grid planning, and experience in managing large-scale projects and stakeholder relationships.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing a strategic grid and infrastructure plan that supports sustainable growth and operational efficiency
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure plans are achievable and aligned with the organisation's vision
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with government agencies, regulatory bodies, industry partners, and other stakeholders
* Representing the organisation in public consultations, forums, and industry events
* Leading management of partnerships or key stakeholders in key infrastructure development segments
The ideal candidate will possess a third-level degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in energy or large-scale infrastructure projects. Proven track record in managing large-scale projects, ownership of project or process delivery, and strong commercial acumen are essential.
Postgraduate qualification in Engineering, Management, or Commercial disciplines is advantageous.
Requirements
* Third-level degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline
* Minimum 10 years' experience in energy or large-scale infrastructure projects
* Proven track record managing large-scale projects and ownership of project or process delivery
* Strong technical understanding of electricity transmission grid planning, development, and operation
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and deliver projects in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
