About this role
This is a 12-month contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-performing capital project function at a leading site.
* Deliver various facility/building/construction-related upgrade projects from initiation to handover.
* Manage all health, safety, and environmental requirements throughout the full life cycle of each project.
* Lead constructability reviews, design reviews, and risk assessments during the design phase.
* Provide input into information for tender packages and assist with procurement processes.
* Supervise and manage contractors throughout the construction stage.
* Identify core project issues and develop mitigation plans.
* Participate in engineering team initiatives as required.
* Ensure compliance with quality, engineering, and EHS standards throughout all phases of project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering various facility/building/construction-related upgrade projects from initiation to handover. This includes managing all health, safety, and environmental requirements throughout the full life cycle of each project.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
* 8+ years' experience in project engineering/management.
* Chartered Engineer qualification is an advantage but not essential.
* NEBOSH International Construction Safety (or equivalent) is an advantage but not essential.
* Experience working on similar scale projects within a regulated environment.
* Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Utility Systems.
