What You'll Do
We're now looking for a Trade Finance Senior Analyst to join our Financial Risk Management team in Dublin. This role supports business growth through Trade Finance Solutions aiming to gain efficiencies through standardisation of processes as well as protect our P&L and Balance Sheet. This role also aims to drive strategic improvements across Trade Finance activities.
This is a Hybrid role, 3 days in the office is required.
Responsibilities
* Trade Finance Program Management:
Lead Global Trade Finance portfolio; oversee full trade finance lifecycle: issuance, amendments, negotiation, and payment processing; verify compliance with Eaton policy.
* Finance Transformation & Improvement:
Drive efficiency through enhanced workflows and automation.
* Strategic Reporting & Risk Support:
Develop strategic KPI's; evaluate transaction feasibility, and operational risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
* Collaboration & Leadership:
Engage with internal stakeholders and banks, issue Trade Finance instruments, and align treasury operations with business strategy.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in Finance (Treasury, Accounting, FP&A, Audit, or operations)
Skills
* Software Proficiency: Strong Excel (incl. macros/VBA), trade finance platforms.
* Power BI/data analytics experience valued.
* Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
* Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
* Attention to Detail & Accuracy: Ensuring compliance and minimizing documentation errors
