Job Title: Patient Services Executive Department: Health Check Location: Beacon Hospital Dublin, Ireland Job type: Permanent / Full-Time Department Overview Beacon Health Check is a specialised service within Beacon Hospital, offering comprehensive health screening for both individual patients and corporate clients.

Focused on prevention and early detection, Health Check delivers premium, efficient care in a supportive, patient-centred environment.

Overall Purpose of the Job As a key member of the Health Check team, the Patient Services Executive plays a central role in ensuring a smooth, high-quality experience for all clients.

This includes coordinating appointments, supporting corporate wellness programmes, managing administrative processes, and delivering outstanding front-of-house service.

Key Responsibilities Client Onboarding & Registration: Greet and register individual and corporate clients on arrival.

Ensure all necessary forms are completed and uploaded accurately.

Corporate Client Coordination.

Scheduling & Logistics: Coordinate daily appointment flows across diagnostics, lab, imaging, and consultation departments to ensure efficient patient movement.

Customer Experience: Act as the first point of contact for Health Check clients, providing clear information, reassurance, and professional support throughout their visit.

Billing & Insurance: Process payments and receipts; prepare corporate invoicing; validate insurance details where applicable.

Administrative Support: Assist with chart tracking, medical report formatting, and communication of results to patients and referring doctors.

System Management: Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using hospital systems; generate internal and external reports as needed.

Cross-Departmental Liaison: Communicate effectively with consultants, diagnostics teams, and admin staff to maintain seamless workflow.

Confidentiality & Compliance: Handle all data in line with GDPR and hospital policies.

Ensure discretion at all times, especially with executive clients.

Personal and Professional Responsibilities The post holder is expected to: Adhere to the Hospital's mission and Vision Maintain patient confidentiality including authorisation of the release of medical information Abide by Hospital policies and all regulatory requirements including mandatory training Have excellent customer care and communication skills, both written and verbal Have excellent knowledge of computers and Microsoft Windows software and keyboard skills Have excellent time management skills.

Build collaborative relationships through strong teamwork across the organization Be flexible, reliable and have good attention to detail.

Hours of work will on occasion be subject to change A willingness to change with the hospital requirements Qualifications Leaving Certificate or equivalent Computer literate Experience using IT systems, including MS Excel & Word Experience At least 2 years of administrative experience Previous experience in a customer service role Hospital experience desirable Job Specific Competencies and Knowledge Complies with processes and procedures Cares about their work Exhibits high level of patient relation skills Exhibits ability to work as member of team in daily performance of duties Have a high capacity for responsibility and individual initiative, and an ability to write clear and concise English Have excellent organizational skills Personal Competencies All posts in Beacon Hospital require a high level of flexibility to ensure the delivery of an effective and efficient service.
