Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Account Director with day-to-day management of an existing book of professional indemnity accounts.
* Prepare and process renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business quotations.
* Liaise with insurers to negotiate favorable terms, cover, and pricing.
* Maintain accurate client records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
* Respond promptly to client queries, providing exceptional service and technical guidance.
* Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within the existing client base.
* Support claims handling, ensuring timely and effective resolution for clients.
* Stay up to date with market developments, industry trends, and insurer appetites in the professional indemnity sector.
Skills & Experience
* Previous insurance experience (commercial lines preferred; professional indemnity highly advantageous).
* Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Client-focused approach, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
* Competent in Microsoft Office.
Qualifications
* APA (Accredited Product Adviser) or CIP (Certified Insurance Practitioner) qualification is required.
