It responsible for efficiently handling, storing and rotating stock and ensuring that customers get the products they need, on time and in perfect condition.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for receiving and inspecting deliveries and ensuring that safe unloading procedures are followedEnsure that incoming materials are consistent with the accompanying paperwork, are in good condition and are stored and stacked according to product storage requirements and company proceduresEnsure returned stock is received and receipted in accordance with proceduresPick, count, assemble and pack orders ensuring that stock is in good condition and that the order is consistent with the accompanying paperworkCheck lot numbers and expiry dates on stock in accordance with procedures and ensure appropriate rotationCompile monthly expiring and expired stock checklistsStock taking and stock controlComplete daily/weekly temperature checks in accordance with agreed proceduresWork in accordance with company policies and procedures ensuring quality standards are adhered toKeep a safe, tidy and clean place of work for warehouse personnel, other employees and visitorsOperate the forklift in accordance with agreed proceduresAssist drivers with loading the vans for deliveries as requiredProvide day to day support to Warehouse Supervisor where required.Attend client sites to ensure stock delivery and replenishmentOther ad-hoc duties, projects and assignments as needed or directedSkills/experience requiredPrevious warehouse experienceGood numeric ability and excellent attention to detailTeam worker with strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels in and outside the companyAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clientsAbility to multi-task, skill in establishing priorities and managing workloadsExcellent customer relationship skills with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesAbility to be flexible and to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations or individualsBasic IT skills in excel/word/outlook desirableForklift LicenseClean drivers' license is essentialWhat we can offer youCompetitive SalaryAnnual bonus based on the achievement of individual KPI's.Pension contributionsGroup Income ProtectionPaid Maternity & Paternity leaveSports and Social ClubLong Service Awards
