Company Accountant, South Belfast Annual Salary: £45,000 Location: South Belfast, Northern IrelandJob Type: Full-time, 9-5 Office-based Our client, a leading force in their field, are investing heavily in the business due to significant growth and expansion. As a result, they now seek to appoint a commercially experienced Company Accountant on a fulltime and permanent basis.We are seeking a detail-oriented and Accountant to provide vital support to the head of Finance and wider finance team, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial management.Day-to-day of the role:Prepare monthly management accounts, including in-depth commentary and variance analysis for board reportingOversee daily transactional financesDevelop and deliver Key Performance Indicator reportsPrepare statutory accounts, financial forecasts, budgets, cost, and activity analysisHandle payroll and VAT processing, including HMRC returnsSupport the development of accounting systems and proceduresTrain and mentor members of the finance teamRequired Skills & Qualifications:Qualified in CIMA/ACCA or equivalent experience (QBE)Minimum of 3-4 years relevant experience in financeExcellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel (V-lookups and Pivot Tables)Experience with accounting software packages such as Sage or XeroStrong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.Benefits:Competitive salary.34 days annual leave per year (including public holidays).Opportunities for professional development in a fast-growing businessTo apply for this position, please submit your CV via this page or contact Laurence at Reed Finance Belfast.
