Realtime Recruitment is seeking a Programme Manager to provide leadership, coordination, and oversight across strategic business initiatives. This role will be accountable for developing and maintaining a consolidated delivery roadmap, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed scope and quality.
The role will collaborate closely with project teams, testing leads, and technology functions, serving as a central point of integration across multiple workstreams. While not directly managing Project Managers, the Testing Manager will report into this role. Strong influence, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional coordination skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain an end-to-end delivery roadmap for strategic initiatives.
* Provide central oversight across projects, tracking progress, risks, and issues.
* Coordinate with project leads to ensure milestones and dependencies are managed.
* Support prioritization, resource allocation, and escalation management across programmes.
* Facilitate governance routines, including steering committees and progress reporting.
* Ensure alignment across testing, technology, compliance, and operational teams.
* Line manage the Testing Manager to integrate quality assurance activities into the delivery lifecycle.
* Drive consistency and adherence to internal governance standards, tools, and methodologies.
* Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders, delivery teams, and senior management.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and post-implementation reviews.
* Promote a collaborative, high-performance culture that encourages problem-solving.
* Undertake individual project management responsibilities when capacity allows.
About You:
* Proven experience in programme or project management, preferably in regulated or complex environments.
* Experience managing cross-functional delivery programmes across multiple workstreams.
* Strong knowledge of project and programme governance frameworks.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage conflicting priorities, and work under pressure.
* Strategic thinker with strong analytical and planning abilities.
