Job Overview
The Forklift Driver plays a critical role in the warehouse, responsible for the efficient movement of goods. This includes receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching items while maintaining health & safety standards.
* Forklift Operations:
Forklift Drivers operate various types of forklifts (reach truck, counterbalance or pallet truck) safely and responsibly Load and unload delivery vehicles according to procedures Move stock to designated racking locations accurately Retrieve pallets for picking loading or production Stack store and rotate stock according to FIFO / FEFO principles
Health Safety Compliance:
1. Avoid accidents near-misses damage follow Health & Safety BRC HACCP company procedures Daily checks report defects immediately Maintain clean obstruction-free aisles work areas Report damaged goods packaging issues discrepancies maintain accuracy relocating consolidating stock
