Job Description
The Manufacturing Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of our manufacturing process across the 24/7 shift teams.
This position is responsible for providing day-to-day support to the manufacturing teams, ensuring that batch manufacture runs smoothly and efficiently.
* Providing cross-shift support to promote best practices among team members
* Coodinating, screening and progressing improvement ideas generated by the shift teams
Responsibilities:
1. Leading investigations into manufacturing deviations and implementing corrective actions
2. SUPPORTING continuous improvements initiatives within the organization
Support audit readiness through documentation tracking and data gathering
Participating in HAZOPs and reviews of documentation as required
Maintaining safety systems, monitoring behaviors and performance on shift as required.
The role requires strong interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively work in a cross-functional matrix environment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), attention to detail,
prioritization skills. Project management experience would be advantageous.
