Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team and take on a challenging role in a leading project management consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour costs versus estimates.
* Carry out all quantity surveying duties, including measurements, valuation, and agreement of work sections.
* Experience in project management, estimating packages, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
* Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction managers/supervisors to discuss cost.
* Monitor cost from vendors or subcontractors, explore variances, manage issues in conjunction with the manager, deal with cost recovery overseas.
* Report on actual costs and examine estimates used by management for planning, organisation, and scheduling work.
* Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.
* Audit cost effectiveness of products, projects, or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience and Skills:
* Degree qualified in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying
* 7+ years PQS experience
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
