A Contracts Manager isrequired to join a leading Build Contractor based inGalway. The successful person will work on residential projects across the western region.You will be part of a growing company that is leading the way in modern construction methods using new technologies, sustainable materials and innovative building methods.Role:Take ownership of the project, drive performance and develop a plan for successful completion.Lead the team, identifying risks and constraints, taking appropriate action to ensure continuous workflow.Plan, organize, and direct activities to ensure optimum delivery of the project.Regular programme evaluation, ability to manage client and design teams expectations.Management of resources, workforce, subcontractors, equipment and materials.Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and technical assessors to ensure project is completed in accordance with programme/contracts.Comply with and co-ordinate project activities in accordance with company Quality System, Quality Procedures, and Engineering Specifications.Meet agreed objectives in the areas of timely delivery, cost, quality and client satisfaction.Ensure highest level of Health & Safety, and Quality is upheld at all times.Maintain good working relationships with clients, design and office teamRequirements:5+ years' experience in a Contracts Manager role in construction.Must have experience delivering large scale construction projects.3rd Level qualification in construction management/Civil Engineering.Proven track record of delivering construction projects within budget and to specification.Comprehensive knowledge of quality and safety management systems.Excellent leadership & people management skills.Self-motivated and driven.Good IT skills with ability to generate detailed site reports.Ability to drive projects and work within strict deadlines.Excellent understanding of Health & Safety requirements within Irish construction sites.Salary:Salary €100k - €120k neg DOEBonus SchemeTalent Development Programmes.Inclusive and supportive work environment.Funded Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities.Supportive work environment with a company that believes in investing in its staff.Being part of a company with a giving back ethos and a long established Corporate Social Responsibility policy.
