Post Summary: The School of Social Work and Social Work and Social Policy, Trinity College Dublin, is seeking to appoint a Research Assistant to work with Dr Paula Mayock, who is leading a qualitative study of homelessness and housing instability among migrant youth in Ireland.
The research aims to examine the experiences of migrant young people who are currently homeless or at risk of homelessness.
More specifically, it seeks to understand their pathways into homelessness, the structural and individual circumstances shaping their experiences, their service engagement patterns, and help-seeking strategies.
The research has a strong policy focus and aims to inform the development of policies and practices that better address the housing and social needs of migrant youth who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and housing exclusion.
