Job Overview:
The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing construction activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Key aspects of this role include ensuring efficient execution, maintaining a safe working environment, and aligning stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management skills, strong communication abilities, and in-depth knowledge of construction regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as the primary client representative on-site, facilitating collaboration between contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
2. Work closely with the SHE team, Facilities, and Operations to minimize disruptions to ongoing production.
3. Ensure construction meets regulatory, building code, and quality standards.
4. Support validation and engineering teams in preparing handover readiness documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management, preferably in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical settings.
* Proven track record of delivering fit-out and infrastructure upgrade projects within live environments.
